The hype around FTX has probably affected everyone, at least informationally. Watching the scale of the collapse of one of the biggest exchanges is just as entertaining as the beginning of the story. CZ, the owner of Binance, is believed to have set this in motion by writing on his Twitter page that he was going to sell all of the FTT volumes that Binance had at the time.In the past week, FTX has lost not only its entire fortune but also all partnership agreements and contracts. The most high-profile and potentially successful ones are:<ul><li>The world-renowned American University of UC Berkeley has terminated the agreement process to rename its stadium after FTX. The cryptocurrency exchange had a contract with the University of Berkeley to sponsor athletes and the athletic department at the university for the next 10 years; the agreement only lasted 450 days. Representatives from UC Berkeley&#39;s athletics department have revealed that the agreement to name and sponsor FTX has been terminated.</li><li>Visa, known to anyone who has ever dealt with banks, the multinational financial operating system announced a partnership with FTX just a month ago to issue special cards with cryptocurrency implementation. But with events unfolding, the company has declined to work with FTX</li></ul>Solana&#39;s blockchain and SOL coin were also affected by the collapse of the exchange. Some major other exchanges such as Binance, and OKX have temporarily suspended Solana-based USDT and USDC stablecoin sales.The whole story sounds tragic, but hopefully business and corporate owners will learn from SBF&#39;s mistakes and the market will get back on track!Interesting things are happening with bitcoin as well. Last week saw a major withdrawal of the first coin from exchanges. 26,000 BTC were withdrawn during the day, thus the total amount of coins withdrawn since 7th November is 220,000 BTC. But this does not mean investors have decided to get rid of their digital gold. The fear is related to the FTX situation, but that&#39;s not surprising. The ex-Meta (ex-Facebook) developers have teamed up to create their own project. Sui Network is the name of a single-layer blockchain. Last week, its creators announced that the network passed into testnet. The company called this phase &#34;Wave 1&#34;, during which validators and full nodes will be tested, as well as their operability, messaging capability, and incident response. Over the past few months, the Sui Network has received significant attention from the public, believed to be a serious competitor to another peer-to-peer blockchain, Aptos.
