The acquisition puts the world&#39;s richest man in charge of the struggling social media platform.</h2>Musk&#39;s first move was to change the leadership of the platform. As a result, Elon Musk terminates Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal, director of legal, policy, and trust Vijaya Gadde, chief financial officer Ned Segal, and general counsel Sean Edgett, who has served as Twitter&#39;s general counsel since 2012 from their respective job role after his acquisition.The terminated executives, including Parag Agrawal, Ned Segal, Sean Edgett, Sarah Personette, and Vijaya Gadde are covered by the ‘golden parachute clause’ signed between Twitter &amp; Musk&#39;s X Holdings.Series of conversations that may have sealed the fate of Twitter&#39;s ex-CEO, Parag Agrawal:A series of leaked Twitter discussions between Elon Musk, former Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal, and co-founder Jack Dorsey reveals the nature of Musk&#39;s relationship with the now-fired Agrawal.The two&#39;s relationship began to deteriorate after Musk tweeted, &#34;Most of these &#34;top&#34; accounts tweet infrequently and offer very little material.&#34; &#34;Is Twitter dead?&#34; on April 9, along with a list of the top ten most-followed Twitter accounts.Agrawal was clearly not pleased with Musk&#39;s tweet and texted him, stating “he&#39;d like to give him his thoughts on the current state of inner distraction at <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-currency-news/twitter-will-charge-dollarmonth-blue-checkmark-verification-says-elon-musk" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Twitter</a> and how it was affecting their ability to work.”Following this conversation, Musk told Bret Taylor, head of Twitter&#39;s board of directors, that he wished to take Twitter non-public, restructure it, and then reintroduce it to the public markets.Musk also spoke with Dorsey and asked for his help in making things better at Twitter. However, their conversations reveal a conflict between Musk and Agrawal, which eventually led to the latter&#39;s departure on Friday morning, after Musk had finally taken over the platform.It was most probable at this point that Musk decided to part ways with Parag Agrawal, also the former CTO of Twitter, when his deal closed.Parag Agrawal&#39;s take on project BlueSkyAfter Jack Dorsey&#39;s resignation as CEO of Twitter in November 2021, the social media platform has made progress on an ambitious, forward-thinking project. Under the direction of CEO Parag Agrawal and with the assistance of Dorsey,  Twitter is lending its support to  Bluesky, a decentralized protocol that will unify content from across the social web.Agrawal believes in decentralization and has made it a point to hire cryptocurrency developers. Promoting the blockchain enables Twitter to provide a common currency to its expanding multinational community; perhaps this is why the firm earlier allowed paying users to upload NFTs as profile pictures.But, after the termination of Parag Agrawal, will Elon Musk support or fund the project Bluesky? We have to wait for further updates regarding this matter before making any statement.What’s next for Parag Agrawal?Although it appears like Parag Agrawal was on the losing end of the Twitter battle but new details have surfaced hinting differently. The company&#39;s SEC filings indicate Parag Agrawal&#39;s compensation. These findings come amid speculation that Musk is attempting to avoid the large payoff to former Twitter executives. Earlier reports stated that Musk fired the executives with cause, giving him the option to escape payment.As per the SEC filing, Agrawal will most certainly receive the largest payout among the former Twitter executive. He is projected to get $57.4 million (about Rs 475 crore), while Segal and Gedde are expected to receive $44.5 million and $20 million, respectively.
