According to a Bloomberg story, Bitcoin mining companies like Core Scientific have recently opted to sell equity more frequently, using one of their least desirable methods of raising capital as revenues dwindle and increased interest rates make borrowing more expensive.The Bitcoin miner and B. Riley Principal Capital II engaged into a $100 million common stock purchase deal in July.
