Arbitrum tech lead prevents potential exploit</h2>A cross-chain bridge between BitBTC and the Ethereum layer-2 network Optimism has avoided a potentially costly exploit thanks to L2 network Abirtrum tech lead Lee Bousfield.According to Bousfield, the BitBTC bridge had a bug that would allow an attacker to mint fake tokens on one side of the bridge, and swap them for real ones on the other.Bousfield had published the Tweet publicly as the “team has ignored (his) messages. The wallet allows users to manage community points stored on-chain that can be used for various in-app purchases.Interest in owning Reddit’s CryptoSnoo NFTs is driving adoption.
