<p>Among the community and in the crypto industry in general, there is a common opinion that some 95% of all crypto projects will be dead after the end of the crypto winter. What steps is Everscale taking to stay among the top 5%?</p><p>Find out the answer to this and many other questions from one of the latest AMA sessions with Nick Inshakov — Everscale and DeFi Alliance initial member.</p><h2 id="header-0"><strong>Everscale does not have one leader</strong></h2><p>One of the questions at the AMA session was about the technical leaders of the Everscale blockchain. Polkadot has Gavin Wood, Ethereum has Vitalik Buterin, and Solana has Anatoly Yakovenko. Who is behind the Everscale blockchain? Nick emphasized that there is no single leader in Everscale and that this has its advantages.</p><p>For example, unlike blockchains with one leader and one opinion on blockchain development, which, if not impossible, is very hard to challenge, in Everscale there is a whole group of companies that are 100% involved in the project. And these companies also have very strong technical leaders who are now managing the blockchain better than ever.</p><p>There’s the Broxus team with their own CTO, Stepan Kamentsev, thanks to him, Everscale has the best bridge <a href="https://octusbridge.io/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">OctusBridge</a> in the industry, as well as other amazing products. Plus, he plays an important role on our architecture committee.</p><p>Also at Everscale, we have Vladimir Maslyakov, the chairman of the architecture committee, who has been building very impressive systems in the fintech industry and in blockchain in particular for over ten years. For example, Vladimir was one of the developers of the crypto fund in 2012, when blockchain technology was just beginning to gain momentum. Everscale thus has very serious and strong people in terms of their authority in both its developer community and its business community.</p><h2 id="header-1"><strong>Regarding plans to get PR agencies and marketing agencies involved</strong></h2><p>Over the past two years, and especially in the past six months, Everscale’s teams have grown so much stronger that we now have the best and truly very talented people working with us. For example, our overall marketing team has a separate Indonesian team and a separate Korean team that do marketing specifically for those regions due to language differences. Everscale is thus relying mostly on its own forces in this regard, because apart from that, the main problem of PR and marketing crypto agencies is that due to bull runs, there are many companies that promise a lot, want to get a big advance payment, and do not like to work for results.</p><p>That’s why Everscale chooses its partners very carefully, with some agencies still cooperating when it needs PR or some publications in major media and major journals, because that’s just the way it works. Once Everscale gets a higher marketing budget, there will be more publications and more material in the media.</p><h2 id="header-2"><strong>Openness and decentralization</strong></h2><p>Nick also pointed out that Everscale is different from other blockchains because of its openness and the availability of its teams. And that is true — it is one of the greatest strengths of this blockchain.</p><p>In Everscale, you can write a message to the Broxus CTO, ITGold CTO, Hyperflex CTO, or someone from EverX, for example. If anyone in the community has any creative ideas or proposals, they just need to email someone about it. Other than that, if you know of any really cool games or projects with a strong community that can become part of the Everscale ecosystem, bring them in, and if integration is successful, you will even be paid a bounty as a reward for bringing great projects into the Everscale ecosystem.</p><p>Everscale is very open in that way. You can communicate; you can propose things or discuss ideas. In fact, the guys from the Everscale teams are more eager to discuss blockchain stuff and blockchain architecture, throughput issues, block finality, sharding, consensus algorithms, or any other thing than probably any other leader of any other blockchain project.</p><p>Team representatives are ready to participate in live events, online meetings, and any other interesting events because they believe that the future is in technology, and that means the future is in Everscale.</p><h2 id="header-3"><strong>Branding update</strong></h2><p>In addition, the AMA session touched on the topic of branding. Everscale is undergoing some updates in this regard, and they are happening quite delicately. This is due to the fact that a color palette and logo that everyone likes have already been formed. Therefore, it was decided to make some subtle changes so that the logo looks more modern, but is not distorted and continues to be recognizable.</p><p>The difference will be very subtle, but very important. With this change, the logo will be easier to integrate into different web interfaces. All of these visual elements will soon be introduced in a separate presentation, and all of the assets will be shared on the website. In addition to this, the back end of the Everscale site has also been changed so that new languages can now be added very, very easily.</p><h2 id="header-4"><strong>Why will Everscale survive the crypto winter?</strong></h2><p>Everscale aims to build a professional community. In fact, what Everscale is really effective at is showing the developer community how good the network is from a technology perspective — that there are a lot of awesome things that can be built on Everscale that are technically impossible in other blockchains, like CBDCs (central bank digital currencies), real-time trading, real-time messaging, or some high-stress application made on the blockchain.</p><p>There has also been more communication with governments, government agencies, and big corporations. This is because in Everscale, there is a belief that the next bull run will be supported by governments and large government agencies creating their own digital currencies. If we see multiple CBDCs in the future, it is therefore likely that some of them will be created by Everscale.</p><p>At some point, it will become obvious that there aren’t many technologies in the world that can actually do that. Everscale is thus redoubling its efforts toward CBDCs and more complex, high-load applications that can be done in collaboration with a government agency or big multinational corporations. That, in turn, is inconsistent with interacting with influencers, who usually target random people.</p><p>In addition, Everscale is very strict about its budgets. Therefore, it is also very selective and smart when it comes to buying traffic. The main goal is to be able to convert traffic into something that can be used. For example, buying traffic with developers who will want to build something on Everscale, or buying traffic in the investor community to get investors.</p><p>Also, DeFi Alliance members are now trying to get funds into the ecosystem by various means, and there is a tremendous amount of support from initial Everscale members. All of this will surely not only lead to Everscale remaining among the top 5% of blockchains that survive the crypto winter, but will also move it into the long-awaited top ranks.</p><h2 id="header-5">About the Everscale network</h2><p>Everscale is one of the most technologically advanced blockchain networks, incorporating all of the blockchain innovations and concepts of recent years.
