Are you tired of us teasing you with Food Truck Wars? &#x1f69a; Well, it’s going to continue for a few more weeks but THAT’S IT! Our dev team is just doing some final testing so that there are no bugs for you. How’s it looking? MY GOD. It’s looking GREAAAAAT. To make the waiting a bit tolerable, we are going to drop a few more details around it. Prep up, it’s not going to be so easy peasy. What is Food Truck Wars?It’s a PvPvP game, exclusively for OneRare Dish NFT holders. The game allows three players at a time to pit against each other in a food-selling competition. What’s with the theme? Every round has a theme. The theme could be cuisine, festival, season, or a special occasion. Let’s say our theme of the day is Spanish. Once you enter the Food Truck wars, the game will give you the theme and an explanation. <img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/886f7300c1d24f52b692a6f6261639c3.png" /> Does the game have some eligibility criteria? Yup, some. Only players who are holding at least 2 Dishes can enter the Food Truck wars. Player Vs Player Vs Player mode Every round needs three players. Once the three players are in, the game begins. Every player has to Dishes from their Dashboard that fit the theme and set a price for them. Once every player has selected their Dishes and pricing, the game begins. <img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/8d2c78525c264d85a0c15ad0db39136a.png" />If the theme is Spanish and you only have one Dish from Spain, you can pick any other Dish but keep in mind — you will lose some customers. If you don’t have Dishes for that theme, the second best thing could be selecting something that is closer to your theme. For example, Indian Food will share some similarities with other cuisines from South Asia. So, if you don’t have Indian Dish NFTs on an Indian theme day, you can pick a Dish from Sri Lanka and hope for the best. Pro tip: Knowing some geography helps. Player Vs Ecosystem The Game will also offer a Player Vs Ecosystem mode where you don’t need other players and still make money. Defeat the ecosystem and make 1 ORARE. No participation is required for this. Do I need money to make money? You need 10 ORARE (Subject to change) to enter the PvPvP mode in Food Truck Wars. Consider that a participation fee. However, the Player Vs Ecosystem mode does not require any participation fee. What are the factors that affect my chance of winning?<ol><li>Country: Whether you have selected a Dish from the right country or not, directly reflects on your score. </li><li>Cuisine: Have you picked a Cuisine from the theme, related to the theme, or a completely different one — your score decreases as the relevance decreases. </li><li>Sub-continent: If you haven’t picked a Dish from the given country or cuisine, are you at least in the same sub-continent? </li><li>Price: Nobody likes to pay an unreasonable price for food. Keeping a reasonable price will increase your chances of winning. But a higher price will bring in more points. Look for balance. </li><li>Spiciness: Every Dish has a Spiciness score. To gain a better score, you need to match the spiciness metric of the said theme with your Dishes. </li><li>Time to cook: Every Dish takes a different amount of time before it is ready to be served. Theme of the Day will include Time to indicate which Dish you should pick. </li><li>Luck: Whether you have Dishes for the Day’s theme or not completely depends on your luck. Even though you can use strategy and your knowledge of the Dishes to increase your chances, a little bit of luck will be needed to win the most.</li></ol>Who are the customers? Customers are algorithms. The algorithm will send 100 customers to your stalls based on who has the right Dishes on sale and the right pricing. This keeps the gameplay fair &amp; smooth. <img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/7ba7d785c97e433086baa85138ba67f6.png" /> The screen will keep showing you who’s winning and who’s losing. If you win, that’s great! Take home the money. If you lose, well…. Try again. You can play as many games as you want. Sounds good, what am I winning again? Money. Out of the three participants, rank 1 and 2 will win ORARE rewards, and sadly, rank 3 wins nothing. Let’s say the Participation fee is 10 ORARE, the winner earns 20 ORARE, runner up earns 10 ORARE, and the loser gets nothing. Keep participating and win rewards. Stake the rewards back in the system and mint more NFTs. That’s honestly the key mantra for making money in the foodverse.
