<p>Even the best teams need vocal supporters if they are to reach their fullest potential. In the past we had a vibrant ambassador program which was impacted by change in personnel. For this reason, the RMRK ambassador program went on a hiatus. However, in the past few weeks we’ve been able to source talent and fill up the holes in our team which has led to a revival of the program. Before we get into the details, let’s begin with the what and the why.</p><h2 id="header-0">The what and the why</h2><p>The main reason we started (and are reviving) the RMRKable ambassador program is to further increase the adoption of the RMRK protocol. But why should you care?</p><p>Aside from having the most innovative/revolutionary NFT protocol in the blockchain space, we are idealists. To us, RMRK is more than an NFT project. It is a protocol that is essential for the decentralized and innovative application of NFTs across many industries — gaming, art, commerce, history, etc. For a brief recap: RMRK is a next-generation NFT protocol that equips NFTs with superpowers using its suite of NFT legos. The RMRK protocol makes it possible for NFTs to own other NFTs, change based on conditions, have multiple outputs depending on context, accept emojis, act as DAOs, and more.</p><p>Some of our solutions have been implemented by other teams, but most times, their implementation has been plagued with elements of centralization. Although we could have reached the finish line before everyone else by resorting to centralized trade offs, we did not. Why bring this up? To show you who we are and give you an idea of the kind of ambassadors we’re looking for. We are builders and idealists who believe in a grand vision for NFTs (wherein they are smart, interoperable, and fully decentralized, whether used in a metaverse, marketplace, game, or whatever). For this reason, we are willing to make sacrifices in service of our ideals.</p><p>We’ve been building nonstop for months and are finally approaching a major milestone in RMRK development — <a href="https://medium.com/rmrkapp/rmrk-ecosystem-report-af2f73b9fd5e" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">RMRK on EVM</a>.
