Coin Gabbar Token

Despite the fact that the cryptocurrency industry is still striving to break the $1 trillion market capitalization mark, the mining power of its most valuable asset, Bitcoin (BTC), continues to increase and hit new highs almost every week.

Indeed, the Bitcoin hash rate has broken a new record, rising three times higher than the lows recorded during the China mining ban.
Only days after CoinGabbar reported on its last all-time high (and a little more than a week before that), Bitcoin's mining power has increased even further, standing at 248.826 million terahashes per second (TH/s) as of October 5, according to sources data.
It's worth mentioning that on July 2, 2021, during the Chinese government's well-publicized crackdown on cryptocurrencies, which resulted in a countrywide ban on crypto mining, Bitcoin's hash rate had decreased to a low of 86.292 million TH/s.
The recent increase in miner confidence can be attributed in part to investors abandoning fiat currencies such as the euro and pound in favor of crypto assets such as BTC and ETH, which has resulted in a three-month high in BTC trading volume and a steady increase in the number of Bitcoin holders.
Holes in China's cryptocurrency crackdown
As a reminder, China's crypto ban was enforced in phases, beginning in May 2021, when the government forbade financial institutions from engaging in cryptocurrency trading. It effectively halted all domestic crypto mining in June.
Despite the mining ban, data from June 2022 revealed that almost 100 reachable Bitcoin nodes safeguarding the Bitcoin network were still operational within Chinese territory at the time, as CoinGabbar reported. According to sources statistics, this number stood at 78 nodes at the time of writing.
Interestingly, the crackdown and ban on all crypto-related services haven't prevented China from ranking among the top ten nations in terms of digital asset adoption, with an index score of 0.535 placing it in tenth place (up from thirteenth last year) among all countries in crypto adoption.
