The developer, if hired,  will develop a Lightning Network-based software as a service (SaaS) platform for the firm. The job offer from Microstrategy is for full-time employment as a Bitcoin Lightning Software Engineer. The qualified individual will be in charge of developing a <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-dictionary/lightning-network" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Lightning Network</a> (LN) SaaS platform.As a Bitcoin Lightning Software Engineer at Microstrategy, you will develop a SaaS platform based on the Lightning Network. Microstrategy chief Chen Wan adds that the platform will offer enterprises unique solutions to cyber-security challenges and allow new e-commerce use cases.According to Wan&#39;s job description, a Bachelor&#39;s degree in computer science or a related discipline is required, and a Master&#39;s or Ph.D. in computer science/engineering is preferred. In addition, the applicant should also be well-versed in data structures, algorithms, operating systems, distributed systems, and other core computer science concepts.The Lightning Network is a Bitcoin Layer-2 scaling solution that was introduced in 2015. At the time of writing, the LN capacity is 4,905.29 BTC, which is worth $95.2 million in USD. As per September 30 statistics, there are currently 17,203 LN nodes and 84,928 payment channels. The number of LN Tor Nodes is around 12,305, and the percentage of LN Tor capacity is 69.3%.Microstrategy’s engineering job says that the selected individual will create software solutions that use the Bitcoin blockchain and Lightning Network, as well as other <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-blogs-english/challenges-in-implementation-of-defi" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">DeFi technologies</a>.
