He asserts that he will support at least one more 150-bps rate increase before the end of the year.Two more FOMC meetings will be held by the Fed before the end of the year. The first meeting will take place on November 2, and the second on December 14. The FOMC is the Federal Reserve&#39;s monetary policy-making committee.Will The Fed Make a Turn?It is the responsibility of the central banks of the world&#39;s economies to control atypical economic phenomena. To combat inflation, they adopted a hawkish attitude and engaged in quantitative tightening. However, the Bank of England moved to quantitative easing to save the UK&#39;s financial crisis.Stanley Druckenmiller, an American financier, feels that the Bank of England is making a grave error by pivoting during an inflationary period.Bostic disclosed that international monetary authorities are not disorganized. He asserts that the Federal Reserve is in continual dialogue with its English counterpart. However, according to the Fed official, inflation levels remain excessively high. He will support a rate hike of at least 75 basis points in November and 50 basis points in December.Can A Recession Be Prevented?Despite his hawkish position, Bostic continues to hold out hope for a soft landing. He feels that a recession in the United States is not inevitable. Lower-than-anticipated growth and a more rational labor market may also indicate a decline in inflation levels.Druckenmiller argues, however, that the Fed&#39;s aggressive stance makes it likely that the economy will experience a rough landing in 2023.
