<h2 id="header-0">Ethereum proof-of-work</h2><p>A press release from Binance, the biggest cryptocurrency exchange in the world, says that the Ethereum proof-of-work (ETHW) mining pool started on Thursday. After the news, the price of EthereumPoW (ETHW) went up by more than 15%, reaching a 24-hour high of $12.71.</p><h2 id="header-1">Binance Introduces an EthereumPoW Mining Pool (ETHW)</h2><p>According to a press statement on September 29, Binance Pool has officially begun the Ethereum Proof-of-Work (ETHW) mining pool for miners. In order to continue mining on the Ethereum proof-of-work chain after the Merge, EthereumPoW hard forked Ethereum to introduce ETHW tokens.</p><p>Binance Pool has also announced free pool fees to encourage ETHW mining on the Ethereum Proof-of-Work (ETHW) mining pool. From September 29 at 10 a.m. to October 29 at 10 a.m., all users can mine ETHW tokens without paying any pool fees.</p><p>ETHW support on Binance Pool, according to Binance, does not accurately reflect the listing of ETHW coins. Like Binance does for other currencies, EthereumPoW (ETHW) will go through a rigorous vetting procedure before being listed. It guarantees the safety of investors and the listing of tokens with more useful use cases.</p><p>Also, only ETHW can be withdrawn from the cryptocurrency exchange. A company policy says that ETHW deposits can&#39;t be accessed. After the Merge, the price of Ethereum (ETH) has dropped sharply, and traders and whales are still selling off their ETH. Additionally, since the Merge, there are now 8,671 more ETH in circulation. In the meantime, the price of ETHW has also dropped due to a lack of support.</p><h3 id="price-of-ethereumpow-explodes">Price of EthereumPoW Explodes</h3><p>EthereumPoW didn&#39;t get much attention from the cryptocurrency community because crypto exchanges didn&#39;t support it and security risks were high. However, ETHW-related developments have driven up prices. Recently, the price of Ethereum increased by over 40% as a result of the introduction of the cross-chain ETHW Bridge.</p><p>The price of ETHW increased by around 15% following the Binance Pool announcement. At the moment, one ETH costs $12.37. It went as low as $10.42 and as high as $12.7 in the last day.</p>
