A significant transfer of 132 million XRP, or roughly $62.1 million, from one wallet to another was also detected by the whale tracker.Why are whales drawn to ripple?However, since the SEC and Ripple submitted their motions for the summary judgement, the whale buildup of XRP tokens has increased.According to Santiment, the XRP/BTC exchange rate hit an all-time high of 0.000025 in the past year. The most recent surge was triggered by newly filed court documents. This comes after ETH successfully transitioned from proof-of-work (PoW) to proof-of-stake (PoS) in a historic move (Ethereum Merge).However, over the past week, the price of XRP has increased by about 50%. This is a result of the positive perception of the case&#39;s outcome that has diffused throughout the market. At the time of publication, XRP is trading for an average price of $0.49.
