The Robinhood USDC agreement comes at a time when USDC is outperforming Tether. In fact, it was recently predicted that USDC will overtake Tether in a relatively short period of time.According to a report, stablecoins grew dramatically in the first four months of 2022. This was prior to the sharp decline in <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/cryptocurrency" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">cryptocurrency prices</a>. Based on growth rates at the time, it appeared that USDC would soon surpass USDT in market size. While USDC grew at a pace of 70.4%, USDT grew at a rate of 28.7%. If the current trend continues, USDC will dethrone Tether as the largest stablecoin by October 2022, the report predicted.Recently, Binance announced that it will no longer support various stablecoins, including USDC. Instead, for stablecoin-based transactions, the top exchange will favor its own cryptocurrency BUSD. The exchange said the move  was made to &#34;increase liquidity and capital efficiency for consumers.&#34;The Bull Run MomentumHowever, according to current data, a turnaround in the stablecoin market position is unlikely in the near future. The partnership with Robinhood would undoubtedly benefit USDC&#39;s prospects, but growth would be contingent on general market sentiment. If the crypto market picks up speed and resumes its bull run, there might be a lot of interest in stablecoins.
