Theresia identified a serious gap in the market: nearly half of all gamers are women, yet very few games actually catered to this demographic. The inclusive, play-and-earn Fashion League game addresses this issue directly by creating opportunities for creation, sustainability and community, especially for women.</p><p>Theresia has appointed a board that includes sought-after executives from Animoca Brands, Yield Guild Games and Riot Games, as well as leading entertainment figures like E! Using social virtual and augmented reality, CEEK simulates live concerts and sporting events worldwide, with the company continuing to expand into new categories.</p><p>Promoting diversity is at the forefront of Mary&#39;s work, with one of her primary goals for CEEK being to make the metaverse universally accessible for everyone.</p><h2 id="header-2"><strong>Laura Du</strong></h2><p>Laura Du is the founder of We3, a community-powered company that focuses on ensuring that women and non-binary professionals are not only included in Web3, but are leading the direction of this developing space. Laura was inspired to create We3 after seeing the transformative potential of Web3 and how it could be used as a tool of empowerment for women, who historically have been left behind when it comes to participating in the most advanced technologies.</p><p>Recognising that diversity is critical to success, Laura has now created a successful female-led community that champions women and non-binary individuals, and thus helping to build an inclusive Web3 world.</p><h2 id="header-3"><strong>Rebecca Barkin</strong></h2><p>With more than 20 years of experience forming creative strategies and immersive experiences, Rebecca Barkin is president of LAMINA1, a layer 1 blockchain for the open metaverse that is the first proven carbon-negative blockchain in the world.</p><p>LAMINIA1&#39;s inherent focus is on building a community to support third-party developers who are building out the metaverse. This women-led company is a Web3 education platform keeping people ahead of the curve in learning and education and helping them build their network and thought leadership in Web3.</p><p>She also runs a successful Web3 podcast where she discusses with highly influential leaders in the sector about their individual journeys, sharing tips and topics such as upcoming trends and how to foster more inclusion in Web3.
