The market reached highs of $57.52 before beginning to retrace. The current market correction appears to be a healthy counterattack, and the LTC price may resume its downward trend. On the upside, resistance is located around $60, while support is marked at $53.Bitcoin, ethereum and litecoin all have declined in price against the dollar in recent days. LTC had previously traded as high as $62.74 before a fresh decline.The price fell sharply below the $60 and $58 support levels. The price has even dropped below the $55 level. Finally, the bulls were aggressive near $53 level. A low was formed near $52.86 and the price started to recover.The price increased over the $55 resistance level. It passed the 23.6% Fib retracement level of the latest decline from the swing high of $62.74 to the low of $52.86. The 24-hour trading volume for the same coin is around $549,704,146. LTC market capitalization has risen by 5.81%. However, trade volume decreased by 17.78% during intraday trading. The market capitalization to volume ratio is 0.1347.The first major resistance is located at the $59 level. Any further rises might push the price up to the $63 level. Above $63 LTC may touch $66 level soon.If LTC fails to break $59 major resistance, the price may continue to fall below $56. The next major support level is at $53 below which the price may accelerate downward.
