Bitcoin is trying to break through the $21,500 barrier against the dollar. To avoid a further decline in the near term, BTC must break through the $22,000 resistance zone.<a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-currency/bitcoin-btc-prices-usd" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Bitcoin’s price started a minor rise from the $21,000 support level</a>. BTC was able to gradually rise over the $21,250 and $21,500 levels.The price even broke beyond the $21,650 level as well as the 100 hourly simple moving average. There was a clear move over the 23.6% Fib retracement level of the downward move from the swing high of $24,416 to the low of $20,797. The bulls, on the other hand, struggled to gain strength for a push towards the $22,000 resistance.The first major barrier on the upside is placed at $22,000. On the hourly chart of the BTC/USD pair, a key bearish trend line is formed with resistance near $22,000. A clear break over the trend line resistance might push the price up to $22,500.The next major resistance could be around $22,650. It is close to the 50% Fib retracement level of the decline from the swing high of $24,416 to the low of $20,797. Any further gains might push the price up to the $24,000 barrier level.If bitcoin is unable to break through the $22,000 barrier level, it may fall further. On the downside, there is immediate support at the $21,400 level.The next major support is currently at $21,000. A closing below the $21,000 support level might trigger another drop in the short future.
