Allow us to help you with this nifty guide!Before we get into it - did you know that HAY is now a destablecoin? If you want to know what that means, stay tuned for upcoming content about it!For ease of navigation, our guide is divided into 5 sections:<ul><li>Section 1: Obtaining a DeFi wallet</li><li>Section 2: Depositing BNB collateral</li><li>Section 3: Borrowing HAY</li><li>Section 4: Returning HAY loan</li><li>Section 5: Withdrawing BNB collateral</li></ul>Section 1: Getting a DeFi wallet - we are using Metamask as an example. If you already have one, feel free to skip this step.Here is a basic step-by-step guide to using the Metamask wallet.<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/6204df75827144b583abc252339f951f.png" />Step 1: download the metamask extension on your preferred browser <a href="https://metamask.io/download/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">here</a>.Step 2: import your wallet or create a new wallet by following the guide <a href="https://www.coindesk.com/learn/how-to-set-up-a-metamask-wallet/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">here.</a>Step 3: Go to our <a href="https://helio.money/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">website.</a> Click on the metamask extension on your browser to sign in, and add the BNB smart chain by clicking the Ethereum Mainnet (default network), at the top right hand corner of the page, as shown in the sample images below.<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/d19d89d78a8346d29997d2e059d90856.png" /><img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/951f250efb914923adbef1034946de5a.png" />Step 4: Add the BNB smart chain by filling up the details provided below.Network Name: Smart ChainNew RPC URL: https://bsc-dataseed.binance.org/ChainID: 56Symbol: BNBBlock Explorer URL: https://bscscan.com<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/50ccab42a15d482baf17e4f7ed21550c.png" />Step 5: select the Mainnet network, and connect to the BNB smart chain that you just added in step 4.<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/05e01dc0cdaf48e1ac3d2d33f00a3ed4.jpeg" />Step 7: Once you have done so, you should see this page. Make sure that your wallet has BNB available (min 1 BNB) to start using our platform.Section 2: Depositing BNB - the minimum BNB deposit upon mainnet launch is now 1 BNB, instead of 0.1 during the testnetStep 8: To provide collateral in BNB, click the “&#43;” button under my collateral as circled below.<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/73947dc5f08c4c999cb5ea2d370ca3c9.jpeg" />Step 9: Provide your choice of amount in BNB as collateral under the deposit amount. Make sure that you have some amount of BNB (~ 1 BNB) remaining in your wallet to pay for gas fees. Click proceed.(Note: the image below is using the testnet, which allows for &lt;1 BNB to be deposited. However, the image and interface is exactly the same as the mainnet. The only difference is the minimum deposit amount for BNB)<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/df02571fe88245bda71814b4b62885ca.png" />Once you are done, you should see this screen that says “completed”.<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/94fbf704b6444a22aca2b70eb07e1155.png" />Step 10: Head back to the main page, and you should see that your BNB has been posted as collateral under the collateral list.(Note: the images below are using the testnet, which allows for &lt;1 BNB to be deposited. However, the image and interface is exactly the same as the mainnet. The only difference on this page is the collateral ratio, which has been lowered to 66%)<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/50278d46d21847d9ac0f302e26e9c09a.png" />Section 3: Borrowing HAY - the minimum HAY you can borrow upon mainnet launch is now 100 HAYStep 11: To borrow HAY, click borrow under “My Borrowed Funds”<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/98b2c97ab6844fcf8a71ff7722489ce3.png" />Proceed to enter the amount of HAY you would like to borrow here. Minimum amount will be 100 HAY upon mainnet launch.<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/5d08577a13854a5482c6aec1768bc487.png" />Click proceed, and your metamask wallet should pop up on the screen. Scroll down below and click confirm.<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/7d296c2c7e47461cb84897fa8bdf761d.png" />Once the transaction is done, this should pop up on your screen.<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/e98c5939e43c49db86853e59ad5a1cd8.png" />Section 4: Repaying your loanStep 12: To repay your loan, go back to the main page, and click repay on the bottom right hand corner.<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/6d102084838e47ee8a375feb6f256a40.png" />Enter the amount of HAY you want to return, click approve, and sign the approval signature on metamask. (You only have to do this step once)<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/401616998cb343c2aa29729b0d98e7d3.png" />Click proceed, confirm the metamask transaction, and you are done!<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/b249488d35a4447e8ae73da30870f758.png" /><img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/e96f8cdfbb5a4dc987df22a4f6d4eb1d.png" />Section 5: Withdrawing your BNB collateralStep 13: To withdraw your BNB collateral, head over to the main page and click on the “-” sign.<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/8852249081674ae689af1bb122d2708c.png" />You can either choose to wait 7-10 days for the unstaking period and receive your BNB, or you could choose to receive your collateral in yield bearing token aBNBc instantly instead by checking the box below.<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/9f749c1d6f8b4d03839d09ee1b40ead4.png" />That is all for now!
