Move2Earn is so hype recently, but<a href="https://medium.com/u/62e4c73e7ea2?source&#61;post_page-----eb7b3144bd3c--------------------------------" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">MOV&#39;N</a>is not a copycat of any M2E project out there. Pedro and Pierre spoke in-depth about his project during our AMA session. Here’s the full recap for you to read and learn more about MOV’N.SEGMENT 1: INTRODUCTION QUESTIONSQuestion 1: Please introduce yourself and your project. What is MOVN? Why did you choose that name? Is there a story behind it?<blockquote>Mr. Pedro: Very quickly we are Pierre Czaja &amp; Pedro Perez both co founders and co CEOs of MOVN. We have a very similar background. We were both educated in Science (Pedro is a Telecom Engineer and Pierre a Chemical Engineer) but also in business in some of the most reputable universities such as Harvard and UCLA. We worked for the leading corporations in the world: Procter &amp; Gamble, Telefonica, Total, Ferrari. As entrepreneurs, we both had a couple of successful exits.But what really brought us together is our passion for Sports. Pedro is a former high-level basketball player and Pierre a former pro tennis player. Pierre also used to manage HEAD the leading racket sports manufacturer in the world.Our name hasn’t always been MOVN. Since the creation of the company in 2019 we have been called OLYMPIA. Recent intellectual property issues made us move away from our original name. We had basically one day to decide on a new name in the middle of the presale campaign &#x1f648;. We will remember that story for a long time… Haha. We are very happy with our new name. We believe MOVN represents who we are better. It is not about competing and winning, it is all about being more active and being our best version. It is not about getting medals, the reward is well being.</blockquote>Question 2: How will your project stand out with so many Move2Earn projects launching at the same time? What makes your project different from other competitors?<blockquote>Mr. Pedro: Good question ….First of all we are no copy of any M2E project. We already proposed a M2E in 2018 with the SETCOIN, the currency of racket sports. Check it online. The setcoin was accepted to purchase everything at the Madrid Open, one of the largest tennis tournaments in the world. The crypto downturn in 2018 prevented us from launching the SETCOIN but we learned a lot.We learn we need a solid business model that makes the project viable even when the crypto market suffers. We needed real economy business models linked to our platform. This is our main difference with others.The model of superapp allows us to integrate all kind of third party sports businesses in our ecosystem and monetize them. The revenue we generate is used to feed the rewarding engine… Our model is self sustainable and doesn’t depend on the permanent entry of new users.Another very important point is that we have no entry barrier. We want the whole world to be healthier and more active. Anyone can start earning. It is as simple as downloading the app, connecting Google Fit or Apple Health and starting moving and doing sports.Last and not least, all sports are taken into account as we can be linked to 95% of the existing physical activity trackers. So it is not just about walking, it is about jogging, bicycling, windsurfing, etc…</blockquote>Question 3: Marketing is an important element for any project, so everyone knows the potential of the project to achieve the set goals. What is the current marketing strategy to attract new users and investors to your project and keep it long term?<blockquote>Mr. Pedro: The power of what we do lies in the superapp model. At the end this is the miniapp owners who will bring users to the ecosystem. For instance an Association, A SaaS company, a brand or any other organization will promote the miniapp thus MOVN. For instance Matchpoint a SaaS company will offer its 1 million users the possibility to earn MOV when booking courts.On top of this we will promote the M2E with our team of 25&#43; athletes and using social media and other mainstream media. We were for instance invited at TVE1 recently (the largest TV Channel in Spain).</blockquote>Question 4: Non-crypto users are very important for mainstream adoption. How are you planning to attract non-crypto users towards your project? Is there any upcoming partnership that will bring non-crypto users and real-use cases?<blockquote>Mr. Pedro: Sure, our main target are people doing sports all over the world.This is one of our strongest points. There is no entry barrier in MOVN so 95% of our users will not be crypto. MOVN represents a huge opportunity for web 3 adoption in general. Everybody can earn and start using MOV without being an expert or adopter.The idea is also to create a DAPP to manage $MOV easily from our ecosystem and educate the community towards web3. Everything with a mobile oriented experience.</blockquote>Question 5: What are the advantages of holding tokens as a long term investment? Can you tell us about the motivations and benefits for investors to keep your tokens long term?<blockquote>Mr. Pedro: That’s really importantWe are building an ecosystem around sports. Any ecosystem takes time to take off, it is not instantaneous. You can see the example of Amazon… The strength of the network effect is what will make the project grow and the token appreciates. Our greatest potential is in 2/3 years. If you read our whitepaper, that’s how we have designed it.Not only in the release of tokens but also in the burning. Each time there will be fewer tokens in the market and more and more activity and demand. That is what makes the project take value over time.</blockquote>SEGMENT 2: LIVE SESSIONQuestion 1: What is the difference between MOVN and other M2E projects?<blockquote>Mr. Pedro: 1- NO ENTRY BARRIER2- BIGGER EARNINGS3- TRULY MULTI-SPORTS4- SUSTAINABLE ECONOMY</blockquote>Question 2: Staking programme is very important for any project, Can i stake your token? Do you have any plan of starting staking programme?<blockquote>Mr. Pedro: Yes, there are programs to stake the token inside the app. Not just as a rewarding system, but to access some premium services</blockquote>Question 3: Revenue is an important aspect for all projects to survive and maintain the project/company. How have you been able to build a complete project and what is the way to generate profit/revenue of the token? What is the income model?<blockquote>Mr. Pedro: We are in fact a Marketplace of applications. Every time there is a transaction (buying products or services) we take a commission. Part of that commission is our revenue, another part goes to reward the users</blockquote>Question 4: Do the token holders have right to participate in the governance of the project? On what kind of decisions can they vote on about the project?<blockquote>Mr. Pedro: The end goal of MOVN is become a DAO. We are not sure when we will get there, but we work towards it.</blockquote>Question 5: What are plans in for global expansion? Are you focusing on market at this time or focus on building and developing or getting customers and users, or partnerships?<blockquote>Mr. Pedro: Our vision is to become a truly global ecosystem, build a new sports economy based on decentralization and rewarding.
