<p>Although markets have not been in favorable conditions during most part of 2022, this has not slowed the DAO from reaching new milestones and continuing its growth.</p><p>Since the beginning of March, many assets and cryptocurrencies have continued to lose value among investors, the most prominent example being Bitcoin which has lost %54 of its value since March 23rd. At the same time, holders of the OWL token have witnessed the inverse effect on their investment. The price of the $OWL token has increased by 48% since March 23rd, from 0.010603 to 0.021760 at the time of this writing.</p><p>Let&#39;s examine a few factors that have contributed to the positive adoption from investors.</p><h3 id="mexc-global-listing">MEXC Global listing</h3><p>The team has been focusing on the mainstream adoption of the token. This month the OWL Token was listed on its first Major Exchange, MEXC Global exchange.</p><p>The token listing was very well received by the MEXC community, peaking at 0.027 and finally stabilizing at 0.021.</p><p>The listing is the first of the many listing the DAO is planning to include for this year, with other Major Exchanges in sight to continue its mainstream adoption and expand the reach of the token to different markets.</p><h3 id="buyback-and-pool-refills">BuyBack and Pool Refills</h3><p>The DAO has committed $515,000 into buybacks and pool refills for its BSC, FTM, and Polygon pools.</p><p>OWL holders have benefited from the price increase and the added benefit of earning more OWL by staking their investment with APRs that range from 48% and up.
