<h2 id="header-0">Hello Pawtherians</h2>Another week, another Tuesday update!<h2 id="header-1">Welcome to the Pawthereum forum!</h2>We want our community to have its own place to discuss and debate topics that would be difficult or impossible to discuss in-depth via the usual social media platforms. This is why we’ve been working on our own forums that we are launching now!This doesn’t mean we don’t want social media to be active or we discourage questions in Telegram, Discord, Reddit, etc., but we think a forum will be perfect for larger topics of conversation that could easily get lost in the shuffle on other platforms.Having larger topics of conversations should be quite easy after this announcement. This is because we have been working behind the scenes on the framework and development of the larger Pawthereum ecosystem. What we have achieved has built up our credibility and allowed us to create relationships with other projects and shelters. All of this has put us on the map.Still, until today, Pawthereum could be seen as just another cryptocurrency amongst all of the others. But it’s much more than that.Pawthereum will be a full ecosystem with a suite of products working together to create value for investors while helping charities. The ecosystem will consist of the following products:ERC-20 BEP-20 ERC-721 (NFT) N — — My Pawth Forum D — — Merch store Roar! W — — PawthcastAll of these products are meant to bring value to Pawthereum. That could mean improving the experience for holders, building the brand, or directly bringing in a profit. The best part: all profit will be used in a way that benefits holders and a percentage will always go to helping animals!<h2 id="header-3">PURR function</h2>When creating the BSC contract, our very own superhuman, Myk, included a purrfectly pawsome function. This function allows taxes across the board to be set temporarily to different values on BSC. We plan on deploying this rarely as a special occasion. What this means is $PAWTH can be bought with discounted tax for a limited time when we turn the function on!For clarification, taxes on the contract cannot be set past a certain percentage, and this is the same for the Purr function. In the case of the BSC contract, taxes can never exceed 12%.Our very first Purr will be activated during today’s Pawthcast during which buy taxes will be cut in half (4% buy, 8% sell)! (4 p.m UTC)<h2 id="header-4">Airdrop!</h2>We had a huge airdrop for long-time Pawthereum supporters, but something to clarify here: for any airdrop, only on-chain holders can be recipients. Why is this? When you hold on a CEX you don’t actually hold the token itself, but rather a representation of that token. You would only receive the token upon withdrawing from the exchange to an on-chain wallet.Airdrops are possible by taking a snapshot of all token holders on the blockchain at that point in time. The tokens are then distributed en masse to the snapshotted wallets. This means that if you are holding on a CEX, rather than on-chain, it wouldn’t be possible for the wallet to be part of the snapshot. If we could have included BigONE holders, we would have.There was another campaign that started at the beginning of this year and ended at the end of January.
