Key Facts

  • Binance said on Tuesday it will discontinue Binance Pool, Pool Savings, Cloud Mining, Transaction Accelerator and related services at 07:00 UTC on Nov. 10.

  • Miners need to point their machines to another pool before the cutoff, as hashrate submitted after that time will not be credited.

  • Binance Pool mined 47 of the 4,425 Bitcoin blocks found over the past month, about 1.1%, according to mempool.space data.

Binance will shut down Binance Pool, its mining pool service, along with its cloud mining and related products, on Nov. 10, the exchange said on Tuesday.

The move takes Binance out of running a mining pool, where miners combine computing power to earn steadier block rewards.
"As part of our ongoing review of products and services, Binance will discontinue Binance Pool and related services on 2026-11-10," the company said in an announcement.

The closure covers Binance Pool, Pool Savings, Cloud Mining and Transaction Accelerator, as well as other pool features such as Telegram hashrate alerts, email notifications and mining pool API services.

At 07:00 UTC on Nov. 10, Binance Pool will begin disconnecting miners and disable its mining endpoints. Hashrate and shares submitted after that time "will no longer be accepted, processed, or credited," Binance said.

Binance told users to reconfigure their machines to point to a different pool before the cutoff and to redeem any Pool Savings positions. Eligible outstanding rewards and refunds will be processed after the shutdown, subject to account status and compliance checks, and Binance Pool pages will stay viewable for historical records until Nov. 24.

Binance Pool Mined About 1% of Recent Bitcoin Blocks

The pool has been a small player in Bitcoin (BTC) mining recently. Binance Pool found 47 of the 4,425 blocks mined over the past month, about 1.1%, ranking 12th, according to mempool.space data.

Foundry USA led over that period with about 25.6% of blocks, followed by AntPool at 20.7% and F2Pool at 16.2%. Over three months, Binance Pool's share was about 1.8%, according to the same data.

The exit comes as some Bitcoin miners rethink their businesses. CleanSpark sold 702 BTC in September and ended its monthly mining updates after a subsidiary raised $2.276 billion in notes for a data center build-out, and Hyperscale Data switched off its Bitcoin miners in Michigan in September to make room for an AI customer.
