So you’re in the jobs market? You’ve come to the right place. While many industries are struggling at the moment, it’s business as usual for go-getting blockchain firms looking to capitalize on the recent boom. Whether you’re a software engineer, smart contract developer, strategist or marketing whizz, there’s likely to be a vacancy that piques your interest. Take a look at the following job descriptions, then give your CV one last once-over. Your dream job could be a few clicks away.

COO at TrustSwap | Remote

DeFi platform TrustSwap enables safe, customizable transactions for the global crypto ecosystem. At the moment, it’s on the hunt for a no-nonsense chief operating officer (COO) to optimize its operational capabilities. Working with execs from the finance & operations, product, technology, HR, marketing and customer success teams, the incoming COO will be in a perfect position to influence the direction of the company.

As well as being able to evaluate and monitor task performance across the business, the candidate will be tasked with identifying innovative ways to increase productivity. Would-be applicants should have at least five years’ management experience in a high-performance environment, with success in start-up firms and mergers and acquisitions. The position is remote, and TrustSwap pays in crypto.

As part of its recruitment drive, TrustSwap is also hiring a technical project manager to oversee the work of developers scattered throughout the globe. In addition to being able to create and implement systems for scalable efficiency for the dev team, the candidate is expected to be an expert in Javascript, React, Solidity and Linux/ Unix Variants. Mobile development experience in React is also a big plus.

Head of Marketing/Chief Marketing Officer at AnRKey X

AnRKey X is a competitive gaming platform that is on a mission to merge eSports, NFTs and DeFi yield farming into an all-encompassing ecosystem for Web 3.0. If that sounds like something you can get on board with, and you’re an entrepreneurial marketing leader with 5-10 years of fintech/crypto experience, what are you waiting for?

This is an excellent opportunity to be part of an exciting new project located at the intersection of various crypto sub-sectors. The head of marketing will lead all marketing endeavors and advance the firm’s strategic growth plan via first-rate content and meticulous ROI analysis. Make no mistake, this is a hands-on role in an industry that moves at warp speed — but the rewards make it worthwhile.

Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at RealT | Remote

RealT is a fast-growing startup that offers fractional and frictionless real estate investment opportunities, powered by blockchain. Ownership of U.S.-based properties is denominated by ERC20 tokens, with rental payments paid automatically to Ethereum wallets. Currently, the company is in the market for a chief technology officer passionate about blockchain, DeFi and real estate.

The CTO will be accountable for the delivery, quality, availability and performance of RealT’s technology platform, websites, services, databases, wallet and cloud infrastructure. As such, it is a role that will appeal to those with both a wealth of experience and an ability to take big, sometimes risky decisions.

Because of the technical requirements of the post, knowledge of Ethereum and EVM-based blockchains is also required, so well as proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Angular, Node.js and MySQL. If you’re up to the challenge, this is a terrific opportunity to participate in taking tokenized real estate to the next level.

JavaScript Engineer at MetaMask | Remote

MetaMask acts as a gateway to the cryptocurrency/DeFi market for well over a million monthly users. Available as a browser extension and mobile app, the Ethereum wallet and token exchange is notable for its user-friendly design and strong security. At the moment, MetaMask is hiring engineers (mid, senior, lead) to champion full-stack feature development, secure and robust code and exceptional user experiences across its JavaScript codebase.

Specifically, it is seeking to recruit people based in timezones between UTC-8:00 and UTC-0:00 (North and South America, Western Europe and Western Africa). The new recruits will be tasked with leading feature development for the MetaMask browser extension, contributing to team discussions about UX design and technical issues, and triaging GitHub issues. Ideally, you’ll have used MetaMask before — and have ideas about possible improvements.

Full Stack Engineer at Pocket Network | Remote

Pocket Network is a decentralized API protocol and marketplace whose mainnet launched in mid-2020. In essence, the distributed network enables developers to constantly keep their DApp running with confidence, without having to depend on a single-service network provider. The software startup is currently looking to hire a full-stack Javascript engineer to architect, design and implement mission-critical products that help app developers leverage Pocket. The new recruit will determine the technical direction for the Pocket Dashboard and Gateway web products, and produce relevant documentation while triaging tech issues. If you have full-stack development experience, get your application in stat.

Director of Community at Unstoppable Domains | Remote

Unstoppable Domains is an ambitious San Francisco-based startup with offices in Kiev. The premise is simple: users get to buy blockchain domains and store them in their crypto wallet alongside their Bitcoin and ETH. At the moment, the company is seeking a remote director of community to lead its team of community managers and engage with its growing community. The ideal candidate should be obsessive about blockchain, with a track record of managing a team ideally within the tech industry.

Software Engineer | Backend, Front-End, SDK/Integrations job at Torus Labs | Singapore

Torus Labs is an open-source cryptographic key management system specializing in one-click login for Web 3.0. Based in Singapore, the startup’s goal is to ensure that public key cryptography and its wide-ranging benefits are available to everyone. Currently, Torus is looking to employ a dynamic software engineer with a background in branching and software configuration management. Needless to say, a passion for cryptography and problem solving is a must, as are excellent interpersonal skills. This one should attract plenty of interest, so make sure your covering letter is strong.

Research Engineer/Developer Advocate in LATAM at Conflux Network

An open-source. layer-1 blockchain protocol that launched in 2018 after raising $35 million, Conflux Network employs a team of world-renowned engineers and computer scientists led by Turing Award recipient Dr. Andrew Yao. Headquartered in Singapore but with strong links to China, Conflux Network wants to power the next generation of global commerce by unlocking tomorrow’s DApps and digital assets.

Right now, the company is looking to bring a research engineer/developer advocate onboard to lead its efforts in Latin America. The recruit will conduct research to enhance network resilience, support engineering teams, and work directly with external developer communities looking to build on top of Conflux. An intellectual self-starter with a passion for the future of blockchain is what Conflux is after, and given that the recruit will be working in Argentina, Chile and Colombia, Spanish is a must.

While the jobs market isn’t getting any easier, the aforementioned vacancies offer intellectual stimulation, dynamic working environments, attractive salary packages, and the chance to be part of something special. Time to polish your résumé.
