The vision behind Pawthereum is not limited only to providing aid to animal shelters, but we also strive to educate animal-based charities on the benefits of DeFi and digital assets. Our long term roadmap is to develop an ecosystem of alternative possibilities for these shelters to receive aid.

Opium is a new platform for launching and trading cryptocurrency derivatives.

Having begun operations in May 2020, Opium uses Ethereum to run a decentralized derivatives marketplace in which any cryptocurrency owner can participate.

The aim of the platform is to democratize access to financial derivatives while using the benefits that decentralization affords traders over legacy alternatives.

Opium’s in-house token, OPIUM, launched in January 2021 and will fulfil various roles mostly centered around platform governance. Active users will be able to vote on some of the most important decisions involved in the platform’s operations.

SALT Lending is a blockchain-based lending platform that offers users cryptocurrency-backed loans. Users deposit any combination of accepted tokens — such as Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), Doge (DOGE), DASH (DASH) or SALT (SALT) — as collateral to receive a loan in the form of a fiat currency or stablecoin.

SALT Lending has a native token, called SALT, that can be spent to reduce the interest rate on a loan and can be used as a secondary form of loan collateral. Currently, SALT is redeemable at a $7.50 value for interest reductions on loans, a policy and valuation which are subject to change.

The company was launched in 2016 and is operated by Salt Blockchain Inc., a for profit entity, Salt Lending LLC: Salt Master Fund II, LLC – NMLS 1711910.
