By digitizing ship finance, one of the typical traditional investment sectors, our MOU could diversify the channels for attracting investors.</p><p>Ship finance is the financial industry in which shipping companies obtain loans by using the ownership of ships as collateral to build or acquire ships. According to market research firm Petrofin Research, the total volume of transactions in the global ship finance market conducted by traditional financial institutions such as banks amounted to $525 billion last year. In addition, the market share in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region has grown rapidly from 40% in the previous year to 44% last year.</p><p></p><h2 id="header-1"><strong>About Pelayaran Korindo</strong></h2><p>Pelayaran Korindo has grown through the transportation of timber, plywood and crude palm oil (CPO).
