<h2 id="header-0">V0.5 UPDATES  </h2><p>This week, the Panther community delivered <a href="https://snapshot.org/#/pantherprotocol.eth/proposal/0x0825de3b9289d3e04e8f9f3607d1145923f482104fecabc9d02634b3f7d6f521" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">PIP-13</a>, which has been submitted to Snapshot for voting.  <br />The proposal encompasses: </p><ul><li>Prolonging the &#34;Advanced Staking&#34; program until Aug 22, 2023 </li><li>Implementing UI upgrades for Panther Protocol v0.5.3</li></ul><p></p><h2 id="header-1">TECH UPDATES - V1 </h2><p>We keep working on Panther&#39;s v1 mechanism to issue rewards, with complex mathematical models running to test this.  Work on this mechanism is now unblocked due to advancements in Shielded Pools&#39; development, a significant step forward.</p><p>Testing for v1 is also progressing according to plan, with the team producing its first prototype for a working product.  This also enables us to progress on multiple fronts!</p><p>This week we also posted an article for an<a href="https://blog.pantherprotocol.io/zswap-and-defi-adaptors-unlocking-private-defi-usage/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow"> in-depth look at zSwap &amp; DeFi Adaptors</a>.  <br />Discover how this concept will link Panther with leading DeFi dApps like Uniswap , QuickswapDEX , &amp;  CurveFinance , enabling seamless &amp; private swaps on DEXs. &#x1f512;<br /><br />Finally, we continue engaging with industry leaders in the Web3 compliance realm to determine the best approach for Panther&#39;s solution.   Stay tuned!</p><h2 id="header-2"><br />ECOSYSTEM  </h2><p>As you may know, we are now proud to call ourselves a chain-agnostic (or cross-chain!) privacy layer.   We shared <a href="https://twitter.com/ZKPanther/status/1648701823300059137" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">a thread</a> elucidating how Panther tackles the transparency challenge.<br /><br />Co-founder &amp; CEO Oliver Gale appeared on the <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v&#61;pXaN_GeTCMw" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">CryptoNews podcast</a>, discussing crypto regulation and Panther&#39;s innovative approach to combining compliance with privacy. &#x1f399;️<br /><br />If you can&#39;t watch the whole interview, here are two valuable clips extracted from their discussion.  <br /><br />1) <a href="https://twitter.com/i/status/1648388000760360962" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Panther Protocol&#39;s potential to transform DeFi by bringing privacy to any assets</a><br />2) <a href="https://twitter.com/i/status/1648969308054200321" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">How DeFi 2.0 ecosystem must upgrade its compliance &amp; AML mechanisms to comply with rising regulations.</a></p><p>Lastly, we announced that Co-Founder Anish Mohammed  &amp; Mark Blunden (Lead Cryptographer) will present Panther&#39;s #SNARK research at  Leading Privacy &#39;s Istanbul!  Probably nothing.</p>
