We can say that $FPS is a token from a different era and we need to evolve!</p><p><strong>Staking</strong> — The current tokenomics of $FPS simply doesn’t include the staking feature. The existing redistribution and manual bonus system we have for our largest holders cause inflation, therefore are unsustainable in the long term.</p><p><strong>Ecosystem expansion</strong> — Since $FPS was born the MetaPlayers project grew exponentially in use cases and future plans as well. Our present token distribution simply doesn’t meet the needs of our future, there are many planned elements that require their own share of tokens, without which the ecosystem would fail eventually.</p><p>TOKENOMICS OF $MFPS</p><p>If you look at the tokenomics of $MFPS, 69,9% of the <strong>tokens serve the community </strong>(comm&amp;ecosystem, staking, CEX reserve, airdrop, marketing, charity) and the long-term success of the project. CEX listing, new investors, rewards, giveaways, tournaments, and other constructive activities such as the Meta Solar System. The first thing everyone must understand, is that without this change the MetaPlayers project would not have a successful future. We created a token that is suited for our ecosystem, has staking, is CEX compatible, and has cutting-edge token functions. Staking will be available from next week from the metaplayers.gg website.</p><h2 id="header-4">Monte Carlo tested</h2><p>The Monte Carlo model is regularly used in financial engineering, as it’s a very old methodology to do option trading and option allocation within large tech companies and is becoming a level 0 testing method for regulated, formal crypto companies as well. Monte Carlo is used when there are just too many complex distributions (price, volume, fees, purchase mechanism etc.) in a system that becomes multidimensional, therefore it can’t be modeled. Monte Carlo is averaging randomness and testing stability with millions of random possibilities that can happen in the system. We run this test with many million iterations, although it’s not 100% bulletproof as the model only knows of and calculates what had already happened in the crypto space. What does it mean? A new dimension, a totally unexpected event, like an FTX collapse cannot be calculated in the model.</p><h3 id="markov-decision-process">Markov decision process</h3><p>Setting the right buy and sell fees can be crucial in a life of a cryptocurrency. The fees of $MFPS lie on a game theoretical optimum that uses Markov decision process. From historical data we tried to realize the psychological boundary when people disincentive because the fee is larger that the utility of the token in their mind. With the use of the Markov process, we could set the ideal percentages to generate maximum revenue and don’t hold up volume generation.</p><h3 id="burn-deflation-mechanism">Burn deflation mechanism</h3><p>To prevent the inflation of $MFPS, we implemented a burn mechanism when we’ll buy back $MFPS from partner merchants (on a slightly higher price of course) and burn these tokens. Ethereum also uses this deflationary component, but $MFPS uses control theory, following the optimum of the burning and the minting keeping everything in balance.</p><h3 id="power-token-mechanism">Power token mechanism</h3><p>Very few projects implemented this feature into their tokenomics so far, but it’s one of the best features in crypto so far. To maintain optimal control, we introduced a feature that’s balancing between incentivizing fast utility consumption or holding depending on market conditions. We utilize daily snapshots of MFPS which can act as a weight for future DAO voting weights, staking reward eligibility etc.</p><p><strong>1) Motivate usage:</strong> During ‘volume’ period, holding tokens for a long time is disadvantageous in order to motivate utility consumption (organizing tournaments etc.) of the token and limit speculation.</p><p><strong>2) Motivate holding: </strong>During ‘HODL’ period wallets that hold tokens for a longer time will have more weight than wallets with the same amount that just purchased MFPS. This way we can create more democratic rewards and ecosystem control for our long-term support and disincentives whales, impulse buyers, and sniper bots.</p><p></p><h2 id="header-5">$MFPS TRANSPARENCY</h2><p>Throughout the migration process, we have provided maximal transparency by making all blockchain transactions related to the process publicly accessible and auditable.
