<blockquote>— Originally written on <a href="https://metalswap.me/mxopg" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">MetalSwap’s Official Blog</a></blockquote><p><strong>MetalSwap Wins Prestigious Optimism Growth Experiment Cycle 11 Grant </strong></p><h2 id="header-0"><strong>A New Chapter Begins</strong></h2><p>After much <a href="https://twitter.com/MetalSwapNet/status/1651227351991083012" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">anticipation</a>, <em>the secret </em>behind the <em>cryptic</em> teaser “02 05 2023” with MetalSwap’s logo painted red has finally been revealed: Today, <strong>2 of May 2023</strong>, we are thrilled to announce that <strong>MetalSwap has officially won the Optimism “Growth Experiment — Cycle 11” Grant!</strong></p><h2 id="header-1"><strong>A Milestone Achievement</strong></h2><p>This accomplishment means that the Optimism team has ranked MetalSwap as one of the <em>most suitable projects</em> to receive their incentives in OP token. We are particularly ecstatic because our project was selected within the top 14 projects in the Optimism Grant’s “Growth Experiments” category during <a href="https://gov.optimism.io/t/cycle-11-final-grants-roundup/5842" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Cycle 11</a>.This recognition is proof of the hard work and dedication of MetalSwap’s team; we couldn’t be prouder!</p><h2 id="header-2"><strong>Incentivizing the Future</strong></h2><p>With this Grant, we have the opportunity to distribute <strong>a total of 30,000 OP</strong> to users of MetalSwap’s dApp as an incentive to use the Hedging Swap tool, for the first time ever on a blockchain other than Ethereum. These tokens will be distributed<em> </em>if the Dao of MetalSwap decides to take the Hedging Swap tool to the Optimism network. We will receive the whole Grant OP token amount based on some <em>critical milestones</em> we shared with the Grants Council Team. This initiative will provide<strong> a significant boost</strong> to both communities and encourage new users to experience our innovative solutions.</p><h2 id="header-3"><strong><br />Joining the Ranks of Industry Leaders</strong></h2><p>As evidenced by past analyses, ma<em>jor projects such as Synthetix, Velodrome, Uniswap, Aave, </em>and<em> Beefy Finance</em> have been selected for these programs.
