<p>Key insights to participate in the Outer Ring Land Public Auctions:</p><ul><li>The first Land public auction will happen on March 15th, opening only for Early Explorers NFT holders.</li><li>Use your Lands as a crafting station and harvest materials inside the Dapp before you claim it in-game.</li><li>All auction bids will use Galactic Quadrant as a payment method starting at 1000 GQ. These tokens will either be burned or used as a liquidity-providing mechanism with no developer fee.</li><li>The first public auction will take place in 5 stages, lasting 72 hours each. Use the buyout options to finish the auctions immediately or make low bids to get the best possible price.</li></ul><h2 id="header-0">Virtual State in Outer Ring</h2><p>The NFT Lands are Outer Ring´s housing system, providing players with a boost in their gameplay experience. At the same time, blockchain gives you real ownership over that virtual terrain, allowing you to freely build on top of it or sell it.</p><p>In the game, you will find Lands of 5 different sizes: Nano, Micro, Standard, Macro, and Mega. Each of them with unique evolving utilities.</p><p>Use them <a href="https://dapp.outerringmmo.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">inside the Dapp</a> before you claim it in the game to improve your NFT Weapon Crafting: get materials, speed building times, and reduce production costs.</p><p><img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/26a68b51cfc9427785e079e8fe5a17ab.jpeg" /></p><p>These utilities will adapt to the game´s long-term vision. They may start with a gameplay-focus approach but, once we have tools that allow it, migrate into a more metaverse-like experience.</p><p>What uses would you like to give to your land?</p><h2 id="header-1">Construction areas inside Great Silver City</h2><p>Fanet was once a prison planet, created to keep away the most dangerous criminals in the galaxy. But times have changed, and now Great Silver City is ready to move on from its dark past. The prison´s walls still divide the city into three rings. Around them, you will find four different 4 sectors where land auctions will take place.</p><p>The first sale will occur inside the Alpha Sector districts, in the city’s first ring. Here, buyers can acquire prime real estate, an exciting opportunity to be a part of the Great Silver City’s transformation. This public auction will represent 20% of the total Land for sale.</p><p><img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/6c2a9047c5b84776aa073a0b6d59ee77.png" /></p><p>The Beta, Gamma, and Delta sectors public sales will open following the Construction Roadmap <a href="https://outerringmmo.com/owning-a-piece-of-land-in-outer-ring-mmo-up-for-voting/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">stated in the previous blog. </a></p><h2 id="header-2">Get Land in the Alpha Sector</h2><p>The Outer Ring rewards brave adventurers. <a href="https://dapp.outerringmmo.com/lootboxeshttps://dapp.outerringmmo.com/lootboxes" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Open a NFT Lootbox </a>to get awesome in-game  items as Weapons, Armor or Vehicles, and become an Early Explorer. All bids start at 1000 GQ. They have a minimum buyout price (allows you to buy directly) and a bid-buyout percentage (buyout price grows proportionally with bids) that increases in each phase.
