<p>Solana has been making headlines recently for its impressive transaction numbers. It has even surpassed Ethereum in various metrics. However, a closer look reveals that much of this activity is likely driven by bots rather than genuine users.</p>

<p>Research shows that Solana reports over 1.3 million daily active users. But each user averages an astounding 217 transactions daily. In contrast, Ethereum users perform fewer than three transactions per day. This discrepancy hints at non-organic activity, suggesting bots are inflating Solana’s transaction metrics.</p>
<p>According to Blockworks Research, Solana’s $25 million in total fees in the week of July 22 surpassed Ethereum’s total fees of $21 million. Solana also clocked the highest 30-day DEX volume in the industry. In the seven days to July 30, Raydium led Solana’s<a href="https://x.com/_ryanrconnor/status/1815753548841300025" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow"> DEX trading</a> volume with $6.078 billion. Orca and Phoenix trailed with $3.428 billion and $1.144 billion, respectively.</p>

As the initial excitement fades, the true health of Solana may become more apparent, potentially leading to a market correction.</p>
