<a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/canaan-s-revenue-drops-by-72/">Canaan</a> Inc. (NASDAQ: CAN) has launched its latest Bitcoin miner, the <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/stronghold-invests-3m-in-bitcoin-mining-expansion/">Avalon</a> Immersion Cooling Miner A1566I, at Mining Disrupt 2024. The new miner, presented by Canaan’s VP and General Manager Ning Zhang, offers a <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/bitcoin-miners-set-for-a-tough-ride-as-2024-halving-nears-jp-morgan/">hash rate</a> of 249 terahashes per second (T), energy efficiency of 19 joules per terahash (J/TH), and power consumption of 4500 watts (W), according to <a href="https://www.canaan.io/news/canaan-launches-the-third-generation-of-immersion-cooling-avalon-miner-a1566i-at-mining-disrupt-2024-1708">Canaan</a>. 
Designed for extreme temperatures from 20°C to 50°C, the A1566I uses advanced immersion cooling technology to enhance heat dissipation and efficiency. This third-generation miner aims to maximize output while minimizing operational costs, with a lightweight design (11kg) that simplifies transport and installation. 
Ning Zhang highlighted Canaan’s commitment to green mining, announcing a 2% voucher for customers using renewable energy. The Avalon A1566I integrates seamlessly with existing equipment, making it a cost-effective upgrade for <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/russias-bitcoin-gold-rush-mining-machine-influx-outpaces-rest-of-the-world/">Bitcoin miners</a>.
