<a href="https://www.fhenix.io/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Fhenix</a>, the fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) Layer 2 blockchain, announced the Encryption Day scheduled next month on July 9 which will be a side event to EthCC in Bressels. This will be a one-day developer event detailing practical ways to use FHE, ZK, and MPc within the Ethereum ecosystem.&nbsp;
On the second day of the encryption event, Ethereum developers interested in building robust on-chain privacy solutions can collaborate and network. The two-day event has already seen a total of 1,100 people thereby forming the preeminent gathering for developers interested in encryption and cryptography.
Fhenix is pioneering Ethereum Layer 2 technology by integrating Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) for confidential smart contracts. This novel cryptographic approach allows computation on encrypted data. Fhenix supports Solidity for smart contract development, ensuring compatibility with EVM and offering selective encryption options with FHE.
Fhenix aims to enhance Ethereum application development by introducing confidentiality features to smart contracts, transactions, and on-chain assets, thereby marking a significant advancement in blockchain technology.
The Encryption Day event will function as a side event to the EthCC, which is the annual Ethereum Community conference scheduled from July 8-11 in Brussels. It will include workshops, conferences, and panel discussions involving key transfer of knowledge about the potential use cases and core innovations of the Ethereum blockchain network, as <a href="https://www.crypto-news-flash.com/polygon-and-nodekit-collaborate-to-boost-composability-in-ethereums-cdk-rollups/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">reported</a> by Crypto News Flash.&nbsp;

Encryption Day, hosted at Ace Events on Av. d’Auderghem 22 in Brussels, will showcase leading experts in the field. Keynote speakers include Justin Drake from the Ethereum Foundation and Ed Felten from Arbitrum. Representatives from Fhenix, Zama, StarkWare, RISC Zero, ZKSync, Gauntlet, and Aztec will also feature prominently.
The seven-hour event will feature talks and panels on encryption within the Ethereum ecosystem. Topics include Secure and Confidential AI by Fhenix, a panel on ZK versus FHE technology with Polygon and ZKSync, and discussions on Encrypted Mempools and Confidential DeFi. Attendees can expect insights into privacy innovations and cryptography trends shaping Ethereum’s future.
Encryption Day welcomes developers, cryptography enthusiasts, and blockchain aficionados passionate about privacy. Limited spots are still available for interested attendees.
Earlier this month Fhenix secured $15 million in Series A funding. Hack VC led the round, joined by Dao5, Amber Group, Primitive, GSR, Collider, and Stake Capital. With this funding, Fhenix’s total raised reaches $22 million. The investment will bolster the launch of Helium, Fhenix’s open testnet, enabling developers to deploy smart contracts on the platform, per the CNF <a href="https://www.crypto-news-flash.com/ethereum-layer-2-confidentiality-focused-blockchain-fhenix-raises-15m-for-testnet-launch/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">report</a>.
