<p>However, some in the industry have raised concerns over the incoming MiCA rules. Regulations around stablecoins and DeFi could see certain assets prohibited from trading.</p> 
<p>Crypto exchange Binance said this week that MiCA could lead to the "delisting of a number of stablecoins" in Europe. Only stablecoins meeting strict oversight criteria will be tradable under the new laws.</p> 
<p>Sam Bankman-Fried, former CEO of the collapsed FTX exchange, also warned that some DeFi and digital asset services could be "effectively banned" under MiCA.</p>
