<p>Greenidge, a Bitcoin mining company based in Upstate New York, recently <a href="https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/greenidge-generation-deploys-8-400-rigs-with-capacity-of--1-0-ehs-301809831.html" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">announced</a> that it has partnered with Core Scientific to expand its mining operations. The partnership will involve Core Scientific hosting 6,914 of Greenidge&#8217;s mining rigs as part of a one-year agreement. Additionally, Greenidge will install an additional 1,500 company-owned miners at its existing facilities.</p>
