<a href="https://twitter.com/RipioApp" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Ripio</a>, Argentina&#39;s leading digital asset platform, is joining the Polygon ecosystem to speed adoption of Web3 applications in Latin America.The Buenos Aires-based company, with a reach of more than 7 million users in the region, is bringing its Ripio Trade, Ripio Portal and Ripio Wallet products to the Polygon network. Ripio will also make use of a range of scaling tools offered by Polygon Labs in its development of a B2B blockchain.“This partnership is a key step in our mission to expand the use of the Polygon network throughout Latin America,” said Hamzah Khan, head of DeFi at Polygon Labs. “By integrating with the Polygon protocol, Ripio&#39;s users will have access to a wider range of Web3 protocols and enjoy faster and cheaper transactions.”Ripio Portal is a digital wallet that supports different blockchain networks including Ethereum and Polygon. It allows users to buy, sell, receive, send, and exchange tokens, store digital assets and play Web3 games. By plugging into the Polygon ecosystem, Ripio Portal users gain access to tens of thousands of decentralized apps, including some of Web3’s biggest projects such as OpenSea, Aave, Uniswap V3 and Magic Eden.The addition of Ripio is the latest move by Polygon Labs in Latin America. In October, the team announced a <a href="https://polygon.technology/blog/nubank-taps-polygon-supernets-for-nucoin-token-launch-loyalty-program" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">partnership </a>with Nubank, one of the world’s largest digital banking platforms with over 70 million customers across Brazil, Mexico and Colombia, announced plans.
