<p>Akron Finance will join the Chainlink BUILD program to <a href="https://akronfinance.medium.com/akron-finance-joins-chainlink-build-program-to-accelerate-adoption-of-akron-crossing-network-c88e3f1598f7">accelerate</a> ecosystem growth and increase the long-term usage of Akron Crossing Network. As part of the program, Akron aims to incentivize greater crypto-economic security while gaining enhanced access to Chainlink&#8217;s industry-leading oracle services and technical support.</p>

<p>Crossing Network is a decentralized exchange that enables near-zero price impact matching or crossing of large orders against other large orders or small atomic swap orders at a spot price sourced from a reliable decentralized exchange like Uniswap. The current median trade size on decentralized exchanges (DEXs) is relatively small, so <a href="http://www.akron.finance">Akron Finance</a> aims to bring the concept of crossing networks to the world of DeFi.</p>
<p>The benefits of the Akron Crossing Network include near-zero price impact for large orders and swaps, <a href="https://akron-crossing-network.gitbook.io">MEV protection</a> achieved by economic disincentive, and earning fees on swaps as a reward for executing large orders.</p>
<p>Akron Finance has long been an active participant and believer in Chainlink, and the company is confident that through enhanced support, secure off-chain services, and the backing of Chainlink&#8217;s vibrant community, they can accelerate awareness of Akron Finance and realize the adoption of a crossing network for large orders in DeFi. The program provides Akron Finance with access to and integration of secure, high-quality market data through Chainlink <a href="https://www.ethnews.com/prices">Price Feeds</a>, the ability to seamlessly automate a swap function through access to Chainlink Automation, and access to new Chainlink product alpha and beta releases, among other benefits.</p>
<p>In exchange for these services, Akron Finance will make 5% of its native token supply available to Chainlink service providers, including stakers, over time. These mutually aligned economic incentives enable both communities to support one another.</p>
