The first 2 weeks since launch have felt like 2 months, but this is only the beginning.With multiple new features, rewards pools, and announcements coming, we are gearing up for an exciting Phase 2 of Onyx DAO.Be sure to join the Onyx DAO Discord to tune into our live Community AMA every Friday to get information as early as possible.See below for full details on what’s coming next for Onyx DAO and the progress the team has made on the upcoming features!<h2 id="header-0">Onyx DAO Phase 2</h2>To give a brief overview of our Phase 2 Roadmap, here’s what’s coming for Onyx DAO:<img src="https://miro.medium.com/v2/resize:fit:1400/1*kKygEjXsAxDv7ya_WMIq5w.png" />Onyx DAO Phase 2 Roadmap<h2 id="header-1">30 Days of Pools</h2>We will have dozens of Rewards Pools for users to stake $ONYX and earn major tokens including, $ETH, $USDT, &amp; $ARB. The current pools can be found on the main Onyx DAO Pools Page. These pools will last for 2–3 months as our features are developed.<h2 id="header-2">Perpetuals</h2>A “perpetual” is a derivative contract that has no expiration date. It allows traders to speculate on the future price movements of an asset. Users will be able to open both long and short positions, with and without leverage. If the price of an asset increases, long positions opened via perpetuals contracts become more profitable; if it decreases, short positions become more profitable. We are working with a major partner on this feature, and additional details will come as developments are finalized.<h2 id="header-3">Predictions</h2>Predicting the price of tokens, such as $ARB, and event based predictions. We will include details on the tools we will have to help you better analyze and predict.<h2 id="header-4">NFTs</h2>Solidify your membership within the Onyx Order with a limited NFT. More details to come as the developments on this feature are finalized.We’ve made progress on each feature over the past week, and you can see how much is complete for each step in the graphic below:<img src="https://miro.medium.com/v2/resize:fit:1400/1*T0Ac57vD2-9PiCQf5ZM5Aw.png" />Additionally, to get more users, we will have a large marketing push around each feature release. This involves working with big partner projects and paid promotion.<h2 id="header-5">Community Questions</h2>This section is for community questions which were submitted in our Discord throughout the week.The first question comes from user &#64;Pfauso:<blockquote>“What are the reasons why I not sell my onyx tokens after emissions?”</blockquote>Well aside from being apart of a great community, you will be able to earn real yield rewards in the form of protocol revenue for $ONYX holders.We are working on additional utility for $ONYX through the use of the different products we are launching such as exclusive access to certain features. Additionally, once the hard cap of 1,570,000 $ONYX is reached, anyone wanting to get $ONYX will need to purchase it. So being an early holder is beneficial.The second question comes from user &#64;0xJasmin:<blockquote>“What’s the next step of Onyx DAO. How to create the flywheel for $ONYX token?”</blockquote>As mentioned above, the next phase of Onyx DAO is around creating and implementing features that will earn revenue to be shared with $ONYX holders. These are our Perpetuals, Predictions, and NFTs.As for the flywheel:<ol><li>Attract — Via pools, marketing, and NFTs.</li><li>2. Engage — Via new products such as perpetuals and prediction.</li><li>3. Delight — Exclusive access and rights for ONYX token holders… Additionally the pools help here too.</li></ol>The third question comes from &#64;cyclonegtm:<blockquote>“Given such less supply, why is it so incredibly underpriced, and how does the team plan to combat it?”</blockquote>We are in a transition phase. We have noticed that several other protocol’s have dropped in price significantly. So where we are at, I am feeling really good. Additionally, to attract new holders and promote Onyx DAO with our new products coming out in the next few weeks.With less emissions, we are in a better spot as sell pressure is reduced while we are building protocol owned liquidity through Treasury Bills from<a href="https://medium.com/u/649a10741853?source&#61;post_page-----3970b6618d6c--------------------------------" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">ApeSwap.finance</a>.The final question comes from user &#64;KD7884:<blockquote>Great AMA! “Big marketing push” sounds great, but a little ambiguous. Could you elaborate a little more how you were thinking of marketing and spreading awareness to the platform / token?</blockquote>So we are looking to do the following to help spread awareness about the platform :— Influencers beta testing our product and releasing videos about the product themselves— AMAs with large ecosystem players— Tweet threads from KOLs— Google Ads to help get new users onto the platform— Partnership announcements to get users from partners onto our platform— Publications from publishers— Ecosystem announcements such as ANDAO and other news sourcesThanks to everyone for reading and being part of the Onyx DAO Community!
