MrBeast, one of the most popular YouTubers and philanthropists, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, is known for his extravagant and charitable stunts that have captured the attention of millions of viewers worldwide.
In addition to his philanthropic efforts, he is also a keen investor in the cryptocurrency market and even integrated them into his content.
Based on his public statements and various developments around him, it appears that MrBeast’s crypto portfolio includes at least $2 million worth of <a href="https://crypto.ro/en/cryptocurrencies/bitcoin/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Bitcoin (BTC)</a>, which he almost lost two years ago when his home was burgled. The thief, apparently unaware of the private key written next to the laptop, missed the opportunity to grab the fortune.
In the interview, MrBeast expressed his amazement at the thief’s oversight, stating that he was more focused on stealing a TV and a blanket than the valuable <a href="https://crypto.ro/en/bitcoin/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Bitcoin</a> that was easily accessible.
In addition to his BTC holdings, MrBeast has also invested in NFTs, including 8 CryptoPunks after being introduced to the idea by Gary Vaynerchuk in a group call with 33 other billionaires. He later sold eight of the Punks for 20-30 times the return on investment. He then reinvested the proceeds into <a href="https://crypto.ro/en/news/oversupply-greed-and-subpar-initiatives-are-the-constraints-of-the-nft-market-says-gary-vee/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Gary Vaynerchuk’s VeeFriends</a>.
Moreover, MrBeast has also backed Xcademy’s <a href="https://xcadnetwork.com" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">XCAD Network (XCAD)</a>, a decentralized finance (DeFi) marketplace and YouTube plugin offering influencers one-click NFT creation and monetization to revolutionize creator monetization with a tokenized economy, that allows creators to earn revenue from their content and fans to engage with their favorite creators in new ways. However, he hasn’t yet released his creator tokens.

In addition to his investments, in August 2021, MrBeast collaborated with <a href="https://www.coinbase.com" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Coinbase</a> for a promotion in his <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v&#61;zxYjTTXc-J8" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">video</a> “Last To Leave Circle Wins $500,000.”
He offered a $2,000 worth of Bitcoin prize to the two people who left the circle that day, and viewers who signed up to Coinbase using his referral code, MRBEAST, received $10 worth of Bitcoin for free. They were also entered into a sweepstakes for a chance to win $100,000 worth of Bitcoin.
In addition, MrBeast took to Twitter and <a href="https://www.coinbase.com/sweepstakes/mrbeast-terms" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">announced a collaboration with Coinbase</a> to give one person $100,000 in Bitcoin.

The promotion was successful and attracted many new users to the platform.
However, MrBeast has since <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v&#61;AjLVXlvamdo" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">removed the section of the video</a> in which he promoted Coinbase from his content, suggesting that his stance towards endorsing crypto-related platforms may have changed.
MrBeast joins a growing list of celebrities and influencers who have entered the crypto space, including UFC stars Conor McGregor and Francis Ngannou, Hollywood actor Matt Damon, American rapper Snoop Dogg, and football star Cristiano Ronaldo.
