In April of this year, Alibaba Cloud, the center of Alibaba Group’s digital technology and intelligence, will launch a <a href="https://finbold.com/topic/blockchain/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">blockchain</a> laboratory in Shibuya, Japan, with the intention of assisting Japanese game developers in identifying further commercial prospects presented by the Web3 era.In order to keep up with the competition in the Web3 age, this lab will serve as an incubation center where game creators can meet and learn about the newest blockchain technology, according to <a href="https://jp.alibabanews.com/alibabacloud_blockchain_lab_in_shibuya/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">information</a> shared by Alibaba (NYSE: <a href="https://finbold.com/stock/alibaba-baba/#:~:text&#61;72.18%200.16%20%280.22%25%29" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">BABA</a>) on March 22.The new lab is opening thanks to a collaborative effort between Tokyu Real Estate Co., Ltd., and Skeleton Crew Studio, a game and VR content creation studio “BitSummit,” Japan’s largest indie game event in Kyoto every year.For the moment, it will be accessible to a select group of customers and hackathon participants who are engaged in the development of joint projects with Alibaba Cloud.
