The first is the “instant” APR that you receive for being in the pool for a short time, while the second is the average APR that you will receive for being in the pool for seven days.Usually, the 7 days APR is bigger than the instant one since rewards are distributed using a <a href="https://medium.com/&#64;wombexfinance/understanding-vapr-generation-and-distribution-in-wombex-a06d167670d6" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">special algorithm</a> for that.<blockquote>So, the first trick for farming yield on Wombex is to stay in the pool for a long timeThe second one is — stay in the pool if others left. In this case undistributed WOM and WMX tokens will be distributed to remaining LPs, multiplying their yields.</blockquote>Inside the “Claim” section there are also some tricks that you should know:<ol><li>You can instantly claim/lock the desired amount of WOM and WMX by moving the percentage bar presented below.</li><li>You can select NONE and claim all WOM to your wallet</li><li>You can uncheck “Lock WMX” checkbox to claim all WMX to your wallet</li></ol><img src="https://miro.medium.com/max/1400/0*K0XteWM6o0wlY5QG" />So, you can flexibly manage the amount of WOM and WMX you plan to stake in the protocol as a long-term strategy and the amount you plan to sell to extract the yield.Staking in wmxWOM offers you yield in WOM on top of your wmxWOM. Right now, it is around 75% APR.<h3 id="strong-two-ways-to-obtain-wmxwom-strong">Two ways to obtain wmxWOM</h3>You can receive wmxWOM using different options. The most evident one is to take WOM that you mined or bought and stake it into Wombex, and stake wmxWOM after that.<blockquote>In this case you receive only 1 wmxWOM per 1 WOM provided. But, you can get much more!</blockquote>There is one trick allowing getting more wmxWOM from WOM you own.You can use <a href="https://app.wombat.exchange/swap?from&#61;WOM&amp;to&#61;wmxWOM" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Wombat DEX</a> and swap WOM to wmxWOM there, and while pair is imbalance you will receive more wmxWOM than 1:1 exchange rate:<img src="https://miro.medium.com/max/1400/0*cL74tAk9nDzGC2Po" />It means that from 1 WOM you can make 1.178 wmxWOM and receive an additional 17.8% (rate can vary at the moment of reading this article).<h3 id="strong-earn-more-from-wmxwom-staking-strong">Earn more from wmxWOM staking</h3>When you stake wmxWOM, you receive rewards in WOM and WMX.
