<a href="https://ultramining.com/en/manufacturers/microbt/">MicroBT</a>, a leader in Bitcoin mining technology, unveiled its new <a href="https://ultramining.com/en/manufacturers/microbt/">WhatsMiner</a> M6XS+ series at the Bitcoin 2024 conference in Nashville, TN. The series includes air-cooling, hydro-cooling, and immersion-cooling models, marking a significant advancement in renewable mining technology, according to <a href="https://bitcoinmagazine.com/business/microbt-unveils-new-whatsminer-m6xs-series-at-bitcoin-2024-conference">Bitcoinmagazine</a>. 
Dr. Zuoxing Yang, <a href="https://ultramining.com/en/manufacturers/microbt/">MicroBT</a>'s founder and CEO, emphasized the company's dedication to sustainable mining. He predicted that by 2026, the <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/minnesota-man-faces-accusations-of-electricity-theft-for-bitcoin-mining/">electricity</a> cost for solar power mining could drop to approximately 4 cents USD per kWh, potentially eliminating a major barrier for the industry. 
MicroBT has successfully piloted a 100 kW solar mining project and plans to launch the <a href="https://ultramining.com/en/manufacturers/microbt/">WhatsMiner</a> solar mining container system. The new WhatsMiner hydro-cooling miner can reach outlet water temperatures up to 80℃ (176℉), allowing for various applications such as agricultural and regional heating. 
The new WhatsMiner models include: 
- M60S+ (air-cooling): <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/impending-bitcoin-halving-may-trigger-major-hashrate-decline-say-experts/">Hashrate</a> of up to 210 TH/s with a power efficiency of 17 J/T. 
- M63S+ (hydro-cooling): <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/impending-bitcoin-halving-may-trigger-major-hashrate-decline-say-experts/">Hashrate</a> of up to 450 TH/s with a power efficiency of 17 J/T and outlet water temperature of 70℃ (158℉). 
- M64 (hydro-cooling): Hashrate of up to 206 TH/s with a power efficiency of 19.9 J/T and outlet water temperature of 80℃ (176℉). 
- M66S+ (immersion-cooling): Hashrate of up to 318 TH/s with a power efficiency of 17 J/T. 
Dr. Yang announced additional products and solutions set to launch in spring 2025. Wright Wang, Sales &amp; Marketing Director of MicroBT, joined a panel discussion with Ghazaleh Barman from <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/riot-platforms-to-boost-efficiency-with-midas-immersion-coolings/">Riot</a> Platforms and Niek Beudeker from Peak Mining, focusing on collaboration from manufacturing to mining.
