Public layer 0 <a href="https://en.coin-turk.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-wpel-link="internal">blockchain</a> Horizen has announced a strategic partnership with Web3 infrastructure provider Ankr, according to a blog post on its official website. Through this strategic alliance, Ankr will serve as one of the Remote Procedure Call (RPC) providers for Horizen&#8217;s newly developed Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatible smart contract platform, EON.

In Horizen&#8217;s statement, the partnership is said to bring additional accessibility, scalability, and reliability to the burgeoning EON ecosystem by supporting a broad range of use cases, including Decentralized Finance (DeFi), gaming, and Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs):
