In an intense push for Web3.0 adoption and sustainability, supply chain management-based blockchain network VeChain has <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://medium.com/vechain-foundation/announcing-the-launch-of-vebetterdao-the-evolution-of-web3-for-better-plus-b3tr-token-airdrops-e9f48f1cff0c">announced</a> the launch of its new platform dubbed VeBetterDAO.

The new platform is designed to focus on improving the cross-industry sustainability of the Decentralized Applications (DApps) ecosystem. Markedly, VeBetterDAO is set to revolutionize the Web3.0 ecosystem regarding adoption across different enterprises and individuals with VeChain’s X-2-Earn strategy.&nbsp;
In a blog post, VeChain described the latest development as Web3’s breakthrough moment. VeBetterDAO is an evolution of the technical vision listed in the Web3 for Better whitepaper launched last year in collaboration with Boston Consulting Group (BCG). Amongst all the features of the platform is its capacity to engage, incentivize, and reward user activity.&nbsp;
It would go as far as onboarding enterprise and individual actors for good causes as well as novel dApps. The launch of VeBetterDAO came with the introduction of two new tokens with the tickers “B3TR” and “VOT3”.&nbsp;

Moving on, the testnet launch of the sustainability platform will take effect immediately. Amidst the launch, some B3TR tokens will be airdropped to members of the VeChain community. For the giveaway, VeChain has not said much in this regard other than it will mark a 1:1 valuation with its mainnet token.&nbsp;
Gaining possession of the token will help users to interact and engage with the platform easily.

Noteworthy, the move is likely to have a significant impact on the broader VeChain ecosystem including the price of its coin VET. More than a week ago, VET <a href="https://coingape.com/markets/heres-why-vechain-vet-price-rally-is-not-yet-over/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">broke</a> above a long consolidation trend to trigger a high-momentum rally that sent it soaring more than 120% in the past week
The coin recorded up to 61% growth within six days which ended up skyrocketing its value from $0.0295 to $0.0477.
The <a href="https://coingape.com/price/vechain-vet/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">VET</a> price surge was attributed to an upgrade on the Vechain ecosystem Account Abstraction (AA) that went live&nbsp;at the time. Within the last 24 hours, the coin has seen up to 5.47% increase which might have been triggered by the VeBetterDAO announcement.&nbsp;
VET is now trading at $0.05097 and may well be on its way to hitting the $0.089 resistance point as the ongoing <a href="https://coingape.com/markets/crypto-market-analysis-2-28-bitcoin-60000-eth-pepe-gala/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Bitcoin price mega run</a> might have an impact on the coin.
