On March 17, General Bytes, the largest manufacturer of cryptocurrency automated teller machines (ATMs), was hacked, resulting in the theft of 56.28 bitcoins valued at approximately $1.5 million. The attacker was able to remotely upload their own Java application using the master service interface, which is usually used by terminals to upload videosIn response to the security incident, General Bytes has announced that it will discontinue its cloud service.
