<h2 id="header-0">Introduction </h2>This guide will enable all those with BUDDY Mint passes, gated NFT collection holders and token holders to create their own 3D metaverse-ready avatars on the Trace Network Labs app. If you hold a BUDDY Mint Pass in your Polygon ERC721 Wallet Address, you can create this avatar in a few minutes easily, Mint it on the Polygon blockchain and store it in your wallet as an NFT. So follow the guide visit the Trace app to get started on minting your very own digital-twin - an avatar that looks like you: <a href="https://app.trace.network/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://app.trace.network/</a><h2 id="header-1">Step-by-Step Minting Guide</h2>Prerequisites - BUDDY Mint PassYou will need a Metamask Wallet with a BUDDY Mint Pass on the Polygon network. There are other options as well to own your BUDDY avatar, but we are not discussing those here. Step 1: Visit the Trace App: <a href="https://app.trace.network/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://app.trace.network/</a>. You will see the Staking module by default. Click on “BUDDY” on the Menu bar.<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/062d467d8c834a60b2a12b30535340cb.jpeg" />Step 2: You will be taken to the following screen which will prompt a wallet connection to your browser metamask extension as follows:<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/b3feb23309834f4dbd490d85bab52665.jpeg" />Step 3: Enter your Wallet password and Click “Unlock”<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/6f8e794f19e947c68f6e7d2ef827637f.jpeg" />Step 4: Ensure you are on Polygon Network on your Wallet when you sign-in:<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/5dea74bd70eb43b4b31b35f37f3beb51.jpeg" />Step 5: Once you have logged-in, Click on “Create your own Avatar”<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/f4a762b7529747d9b5818b71b6687375.jpeg" />Step 6: On the next screen, either choose  “Upload Picture” or “Take picture” as per your convenience. For Upload Picture, you can choose a photograph of yours with a clear headshot or you can enable your device camera to take your picture.<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/6adafb2fd3fb4789b2b38c35bac81358.jpeg" />Step 7: On the next screen, if you are satisfied with your photograph, click on “Continue” else retake your picture.<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/5262c1ee5565499cbc5e0dc763b42db9.jpeg" />Step 8: Enter the details asked for i.e. Name, Gender &amp; an Emailid, and click on “Generate avatar”<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/5224f833cc5c4c35a1cfe9577d50d42c.jpeg" />Step 9: Wait for a few minutes… <img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/c27a6d555d7c485194704049b63db68e.jpeg" />Step 10: The process will follow and you can see your real-looking Avatar ready&#x1f60a;…Now, click on “Mint your Buddy”<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/623883ae6d094feab82a8efc0d7c4c6c.jpeg" />Step 11: Wait for a few seconds while the minting process is initiated and the next command starts...<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/80cbefdc5fd845ed88aa43c432ded245.jpeg" />Step 12.1: Now in order to Mint your Buddy Avatar, ensure your Metamask wallet on Polygon has at enough funds to pay for your avatar minting i.e. USD $25.005.
