The Hong Kong Stock Exchange has recently expanded its offerings by introducing several new <a href="https://coingape.com/breaking-hong-kong-regulator-sfc-approves-spot-bitcoin-etf-and-ethereum-etf/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs)</a> into its repertoire of CCASS Multi-Counter Eligible Securities. Among these newly included ETFs are Bosera HashKey Bitcoin ETF Shares, Bosera HashKey Ethereum ETF Shares, Huaxia Bitcoin ETF Shares, Huaxia Ethereum ETF Shares, Harvest Bitcoin Spot ETF Shares, and Harvest Ethereum Spot ETF Shares. This addition marks a significant development for investors interested in cryptocurrency exposure within the Hong Kong market. 
Commencing from April 30, 2024, investors will have the opportunity to trade these ETFs on the <a href="https://coingape.com/hong-kongs-securities-association-tips-authorities-on-crypto-self-regulation/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Hong Kong Stock Exchange</a>. Notably, these ETFs will be available for trading through both HKD and USD counters, with each counter having specific stock codes and trading currencies allocated to them. These guidelines encompass instructions on inter-counter transfers, custodian services, legal title, clearing and settlement procedures, creation and redemption applications, as well as fees and charges associated with these transactions. Moreover, arrangements have been outlined for transferring shares out of CCASS in the event that they cease to qualify as CCASS Eligible Securities, ensuring clarity and transparency in the trading process.
