<p>Acting CFO Gabrielle Rabinovitch explained the current scenario during the earnings call: “When we think about the back half, in Q3, we’ll still see some pressure on transaction margin performance,” she said, adding an optimistic note for the upcoming quarter: “In Q4, we expect to see an improvement.”</p>

<p>PayPal’s involvement in the crypto space has been a notable highlight. In May, PayPal customers’ crypto holdings reached an impressive $943 million. The company also extended its influence in the digital wallet space, with PayPal Ventures leading a $52 million raise for digital wallet provider Magic.</p> 
<p>These moves signify PayPal’s intention to stay at the forefront of the digital financial revolution, tapping into new markets and technologies.</p>

<p>Despite the Q2 hiccup, PayPal’s executives are hopeful about the future. The company has stated that it anticipates beating analysts’ estimates for both Q3 revenue and profit per share.
