Alexandria by CoinMarketCap takes a deep dive into Alpine F1® Team Fan Token (ALPINE), the first-ever Formula racing team to launch its fan token on Binance.
Alpine F1® Team Fan Token (ALPINE)
is the 27th project of Binance Launchpad
and it is also the first Formula One team to join the Binance Fan Token platform. Binance is now the official Fan Token Partner of the BWT Alpine F1 Team. The logo of Binance will be featured on all the new Alpine A522 cars and the launching date is set for 21st February 2022.
The Alpine F1 Team Fan Token (ALPINE
), backed by Binance, will be distributed via Binance Launchpad. Through the distinctive and engagement-based rewards, interactivity, gamification, and more, the collaborative operation around the token launch will assist BWT Alpine F1 Team to discover different branding opportunities
to generate a more meaningful and responsive fan engagement
experience for BWT Alpine F1 Team fans, both on the physical and virtual race track.
Laurent Rossi, CEO, Alpine, said
: “BWT Alpine F1 Team is not one to shy away from challenges, nor are we afraid to continually push the limit both on and off the track. Partnering with Binance fuels our passion to change the racing landscape as well as open doors for more innovative fan engagement. This journey starts with the ALPINE token launch and the unveiling of a special collection of NFTs. These upcoming, limited edition NFTs will highlight Alpine’s commitment in striving for elegance, ingenuity and audacity. We aim to be forerunners in this new digital space and we believe Binance is the right partner to take us all the way to the checkered flag.”
Helen Hai, CEO of Binance Fiat Exchange, said: “We are proud to announce BWT Alpine F1 Team on the Binance Fan Token Platform, and our first Formula 1 partnership.”
She also said: ‘’We aim to bring equally exciting experiences to the blockchain and drive even more utility for ALPINE holders, to extend the range of activities fans can already do on our platform. We are just approaching ‘turn one’ of ‘lap one’ on the token race track; and possibilities are truly endless.”
Similar to other Binance Fan Tokens like LAZIO
, the ALPINE token will also become a hub of engagement between the racing brand and its fans.
While official details are yet to be disclosed, it is quite possible that the ALPINE token will be offered to racing fans through which they get discounts, official merch, and exclusive access to many other benefits.

and follow the instructions.
As previously stated, the ALPINE token will be priced at $1. When the ALPINE fan token is released, millions of Binance users are likely to begin trading and apeing
the token, potentially causing a significant price increase. Because Alpine F1® Team is a popular team, this price increase might be significant,
possibly even more than the previous initiatives, including LAZIO and PORTO, because, unlike the football fan tokens, the ALPINE token is associated with the racing niche, therefore, results can be surprising.
The Alpine F1® Team team has a long history of triumphs in the racing world, having debuted in Formula One as Toleman in 1981, when it was based in Witney, England. It was rebranded and competed as Benetton after being purchased by the Benetton Group in 1986. It won the Constructors' Championship in 1995 as Benetton, while its driver, Michael Schumacher, won two Drivers' Championships in 1994 and 1995 as Benetton.
After many successful attempts in all those years, in September 2020, Groupe Renault (previously known by many names) revealed their desire to adopt "Alpine" as their team's new name moving forward in order to promote the Alpine nameplate, and the team would therefore be known as the "Alpine F1 Team," with the "Renault F1 Team" appellation being phased out after five years.
In summary, the ALPINE token has the potential to become a success. However, the certainty of that happening depends on the crypto market’s volatility among many other factors.
