Solana Foundation Claims That the Network Has Experienced 100%

In the July 2023 network performance report, the Solana Foundation claims that the network has experienced 100% uptime since February 2023, after a string of disruptions that damaged the blockchain's reputation.

The report highlights the significant advancements made between February and June of this year, including a testnet that is battle-tested before every release goes live, external developers and auditors having a larger role in analyzing updates and identifying exploits.

Recent improvements have improved the network's ability to handle heavy traffic, and the foundation asserts that it has a way for storing data on-chain while drastically reducing expenses.

The foundation notes that even though there has been 100% uptime, this does not ensure future network performance. SOL's market cap dropped by 9% last month as a result of the SEC classifying the token as a security in a lawsuit.
