ApeFest, which was organized by Yuga Labs, was held from Nov 3 to 5 in Hong Kong, and brought together Bored Ape Yacht Club community members and other NFT enthusiasts.
Individuals who were in close proximity to the main stage lighting display encountered these concerns, according to social media accounts.
At least 15 claims of eyesight damage emerged on X, with some indicating that they had to visit the ER. The symptoms reported align with a condition known as photokeratitis, caused by prolonged exposure to high levels of UV radiation.
