CoinSpot, an Australian crypto exchange was reportedly hacked for $2.4 million due to a "probable private key compromise" in one of its hot wallets.
The funds were transferred to the Bitcoin network via ThorChain and Wan Bridge. This makes tracking the stolen funds more challenging. CoinSpot is regulated by AUSTRAC and holds an Australian Digital Currency Exchange License.
